Turning the train from mundane to pure magic.

An out-of-home campaign that captured the adventure, joy, and excitement of train travel throughout the Liverpool City Region. By inviting Chester Zoo’s finest, John Lennon and others along for the ride it delivered an 11% boost in ticket sales, year-on-year.

Liverpool City Region’s leading train operator needed to increase its off-peak ticket sales across the board. The train’s a natural choice for commuting, but passengers turn to the car for leisure. And ‘off-peak’ has a bad rep as the poor cousin of train tickets, even though they cost less and are used more. So we needed to remind Merseyside just how great train travel is.
